General Cleaning & Daily Care
Assignment: TRUEWORK Facility Solutions successfully undertook the daily cleaning and maintenance of the facilities at the HELLENIC STEEL industrial plant, located in Kordelio, Thessaloniki. Our services cover, on a continuous daily basis, a roofed area of 150,000 square meters, including both the office facilities and the industrial areas of the factory. Our dedication, consistency, and high-quality work led the management of the steel industry to entrust us with an even more demanding task: the General Cleaning of ten (10) High Voltage Substations of the company — a mission with special requirements and a high degree of occupational risk.
Organization: Recognizing the nature of the project and the potential hazards involved in cleaning high voltage installations, the company developed a specialized operational plan. This plan was based on the selection of experienced personnel and the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), in full compliance with applicable legislation. In parallel, specially selected cleaning materials and products were used, compatible with the technical and energy-specific environment of the Substations. All tasks were carried out under the constant supervision of the TRUEWORK Facility Solutions Project Manager, further reinforcing the safety framework and ensuring full adherence to all safety protocols.
Work Schedule:
- Cleaning of interior surfaces and equipment within the High Voltage Substations
- Removal of dust and contaminants from sensitive technical areas using specialized procedures
- Use of non-conductive tools and cleaning agents to eliminate risk
- Cleaning of floors, doors, and air ducts in a safe and controlled manner
- Implementation of a comprehensive safety plan with full documentation of procedures
